The storage we use is the same storage used by industries including government, financial and even health industries. It complies with multiple compliance programs including System and Organization Controls (SOC), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Absolutely. We store data in three separate geographic locations across the United States, so even in the unlikely event that there is data loss in one location, your data will not be lost as it is still available in the other two geographic locations.

Moving data isn't free, it costs money to maintain connections and infrastructures, and process data. In fact, the faster the data moves, the more expensive it gets. These are all things you pay for when using traditional cloud storage. However, with Alpii, because it's designed to be used to store data long-term and not move data regularly, we don't think you should pay for the moving of data on a monthly basis if you're not actually moving data. So, we give you a free quota of retrievals and then give you the ability to pay for retrievals only when you need them keeping your costs low.

As a result, we have a six month minimum on all files.
